About the Artist: DT Richard Durando-Togo (born in 1910 in Buenos Aires ) is a painter of Argentine origin who spent most of his life in Italy and France where he settled permanently in 1934. In 1968, Richard received the International Grand Prix for Painting.
A painter of gypsy dances and musical scenes, market scenes, portraits of women with hats, nudes, and still life paintings in bright colors. His nudes are elegant and refined. Richard's works are in collections in France, Italy, England, the United States, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands.
