19th century pair of charming small framed Italian oil paintings of a monk.

In one, the smiling monk sports an apron and is carrying a lamp, returning from the cellar carrying a bottle of wine. In the other, with spectacles in one hand, he bears a delighted expression as he admires a small classical female bust he holds.
