Interesting & Decorative Framed Panoramic 19th Century Chromolithograph (Oleograph) of the signing of the American Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia. on July 4th 1776. In its original gilded frame, it depicts the 'fathers' of the Republic accompanied by their wives. Measures 45 inches x 25  (114 x 64 cms)- Signed "Ferrari' in Good Condition.. Circa 1860-1890 An 'oleograph ' (or 'chromolithograph') is a print which has been textured to resemble a painting. In the 19th century the technique was widely used and good oleographs in nice frames can have a value of their own.
