Mid-Century Carved Boar's Head Shop Sign from a 'Macelleria' (Butchers shop) in northern Italy. Carved by a local artisan in olive wood with metal tusks, and with fixing point on the reverse side.

Measures 18 inches from ears to snout, In very good condition. Made circa 1930-1970
