Item Details

Oval shaped 'Wine Tasting' or 'Vendange' Table, used for eating lunch during the wine harvest or for tasting in the wine cellar.


Made of walnut, the table top has been french-polished to give a sheen to the wood.


The folding table top (see top photo) hinges to the horizontal position and then the V shaped crutch spins round to lock the top in position.


Measures 44 inches x 38 x 28 high. In good condition. c. 1900-1925.
