This superb French wrought iron garden bench, attributed to the renowned Grassin Arras, dates from the early 20th century. Its design exemplifies the elegance and functionality of classic French garden furniture.


The bench features expertly crafted wrought iron straps, curved at the ends in a typical Arras style, ensuring a remarkably comfortable sitting position. The beautifully shaped arms are adorned with scrollwork, while the substantially splayed legs terminate in distinctive cast hoof feet. The seat height is a practical 43 cm, making it ideal for both comfort and aesthetics.


The piece boasts an iconic rounded hollow wrought iron construction, reflecting the ingenuity of the mid-19th-century French design that inspired it.
