An outstanding substantial size high quality pair of large bulbous shaped Japanese earthenware Meiji period vases.


Decorated in raised enamel decoration in panels depicting Japanese life scenes and chrysanthemums. With superb gilding and and bold colours in very good condition.


Each rim has a very barely noticeable small restoration.


A standout look would work in country house or contemporary interiors.
