Isn't this just great.

Scratch built folk art traffic light, probably around the 1930's, which actually works, red, amber, green.

Too big for a train enthusiasts tracks at home? it would have to have been a pretty large set up, maybe made to show how traffic lights work for a council?.

57 cm tall with 21.5cm square base we have had the electrics taken out and replaced with a battery for safety, and also appropriate to the period material wires made to replace the old much used ones.

A wonderful hark back to the days when people made stuff.
