Set of 8 Matching Oak and Leather Armchairs Carvers from Fort Dunlop C1920s

Purchased from an elderly lady once an employee of The Fort Dunlop factory close to Birmingham, the once home of Dunlop tyres, who herself purchased them back in the 1970s from the factory.

They have a great look with a comfortable curved back, lovely shaped arms and a pleasing kick to the legs - classic for the era. We have carefully and lightly cleaned the frames to ensure that the history and use marks remain. We have a few well executed repairs and all seats are good for use. In addition they are just back from being freshly, professionally, fully upholstered with new webbing, filling and topped in a thick rich tan natural coloured English leather which will age up very well. The chairs would make a great addition to a residential or commercial space.

A seldom seen set of 8 late 1920s English carver armchairs.
