An exquisite combination of craftsmanship and detail, this piece is crowned with elegant sphinx figures adorning a delicate glass bowl, sure to bring a regal touch to any dining experience.


With an Egyptian Sphinx sitting proud on each of the 3 corners.


A cut glass bowl at the top, for displaying serving fruit and it does lift off. 


Standing on 3 beautiful elegant acanthus shaped curved legs. 


Featuring fine repousse detail around the edges of foliage & geometric shapes. 


Initial Hallmarked J.B.C & S.Ltd on the base underneath is in a crescent shape, which dates it to late 19th century Victorian era 1896.


The maker is by J.B.Chatterley & Sons Ltd Birmingham. 


Condition report. 


Offered in fine used old worn condition.  


No chips to the glass, having noticeable scratches, stains, wear marks commensurate with usage & age. 


Heavy quality unwrapped weight around 2kg.
