Subject hunting scene of a pointer gun dog which is carrying a dead Game game bird in the Scottish country moors. In full side profile facing left view set in open countryside moors, a sole tree is in the background along with bushes.

Medium pencil & watercolour on paper.

Set in a later traditional frame which is a nice small size with the frame being 25 cm wide and 17 cm high.

Initial signed on the bottom right by the British artist J.O.

Circa early Victorian era dated July 1846.

With hanging thread on the back ready for immediate home wall display.

Offered in fine used condition. 

Front painting surface in very good overall order.  Having some minor foxing staining in places. The frame has some losses, cracking, scuffs, scratches & general wear commensurate with usage & age.
