Early 20th Century Edwardian Work of Art Watercolour Painting Proud Dominant Seagulls Flying & Landing On The Rocks.
Make a big statement to impress your clients & guests with this marine view of dominant seagulls, a great family heirloom to pass down through the generations.
Subject nautical marine view of a flock of seagulls mainly in mid flight about to land on the rocks, surrounded by rough choppy seas. 1 seagull has just landed and is in a dominant pose with wings outstretched looking directly towards the viewer, very choppy rough sea swells crashing against the rocks, to the far left in the distant horizon you can view sail masts from sailing yachts, above mainly overcast sky with small spots of blue shining through.
Medium is watercolour with a front protective glass cover.
Circa early 20th century dated 1911.
Signed by the known artist Albert Edward Boler..
In our opinion this is among his finest works.
Set in the original decorative gilt frame which has leaf foliage mould decorations in each corner, which enhances this work of art even further.

Biography of Albert Edward Boler is a known British marine & landscape artist who was based in Sheffield in the county of Yorkshire. It is known that Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art & Sheffield Museums have featured his works. Albert Edward Boler's paintings have been exhibited and sold at auctions around the work like Christie’s amongst others.

Front painting surface in good overall order. Some minor paint loss in places with various foxing stains to the painting surface. Set in fine impressive fancy gilt frame which has various general wear, dust, chips losses, scratches, colour loss to the frame in places commensurate with usage & old age.
