The silver plate is tarnished & rubbed on the cranes legs and around the quill recess. Some loss of plate in places and various scratches.
Both the glass inkwells are original & in good condition for their age, one has a small nick to one edge and there is residue of red ink to the cap, 1 of the inkwell base's is slightly warped and you have to push it into place so it fits in all commensurate with age and nothing that detracts for the magnificence of the piece.
