A striking sectional French carved stone pedestal c.1670 with later carved stone top.

Featuring undulating carved scrolled supports and lozenge floral detailing to the top slab.
In three solid carved sections, the back of the pedestal is completely flat allowing positioning flush against a garden wall.

This grand scale pedestal works equally well in an interior or garden setting, the solid stone means it can support heavy sculptural pieces.
It also simply looks wonderful as a stand alone centre piece and is able to free stand in your garden.

The patination and feel of the stone is worn to perfection with a light spattering of lichen.
