Fine quality brass mounted side cabinet by the acclaimed French cabinet makers Chaleyssin c.1950. Mahogany cabinet featuring three drawers over a long open shelf (height 8½") and three lockable cupboards below, each with a single adjustable shelf inside (internal depth 11"). Leather fronts to the drawers and doors, featuring decorative gilt tooling. Extensive and large Louis XVI style brass mounts to the moulded top, apron and feet. Plus brass mouldings, drawer knobs and escutcheons. Clearly maker's stamps and serial numbers to the rear. Inks pots or similar to the right hand door front. Otherwise excellent colour and condition with only minor wear. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
