Item Details

Unusually large primitive style armchair in oak c.1970. Panelled backrest with a shaped top rail and carved tops to the stiles. Broad arms with rounded ends on sloping supports. Over a 3″ thick slab seat raised on spoke shaved (rather than turned) legs set an an angle for stability. Excellent condition, very solid and sturdy, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
