Rare Venetian walnut rococo canapé couch c.1760. High shaped and arched backrest and distinctive sloped overhanging ends over a webbed seat. Carved walnut frame with carved scrolling detail to the arm fronts, exposed shaped edge below the seat and cabriole legs front and rear with carved feet. Serviceable upholstery in a pale linen woven with an attractive floral pattern. Good condition, the frame has been cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
