Fabulous Victorian burr walnut tilt top centre table.


The top has book matched burr walnut veneer, which is just beautiful and the supporting column, which is richer in colour, has been hand carved with scrolls, acanthus leaves, gadrooning and relief decoration.


There are three large splayed legs with magnificent animal paw feet, that ingeniously, underneath, have inset brass castors, making this large centre table easy to move.


The top can be tilted to an upright position when not in use and has a wooden arm to support the table from behind to keep it in position. When the table is in use there is a large brass clip which automatically holds it in place


This is a real beauty, oozing opulence and style, an eye catching piece, all in original condition.
