A fine Victorian ebonized open armchair with makers stamp to right rear leg and a registration number to the left rear leg, possibly Gillows of Lancaster. 


A wonderful ebonized design with a partial open arched back supported by turned spindles, impressed decoration and gold gilt highlights.


Sweeping arms with shallow buttoning and a fully stuffed, very comfortable seat.


There are gold highlights throughout which accentuate most parts of this fantastic chair.


Newly upholstered.
