A pair of Dorothy Draper style painted tole 'creeping ivy' sconces, Italian, 1940s - naturalistically designed as meandering creeping ivy stems, the twin branches with flower form candle holders, the leaves well modelled with detailed venation, hand painted throughout.  In good overall condition commensurate with age with minor signs of wear but nothing detracting in our opinion.  Lovely examples of original botanical sconces - sought after and scarce in this design.  Can be wired and PAT tested - please enquire.
