A pair of good sized painted tole 'Pineapple' sconces, Italian, 1950s - naturalistically designed as life sized fruits sprouting leafy fronds, each with four branches terminating in decorative scallop edged candle holders.  Well modelled and hand painted throughout in green and gilt, painted 'Italy' verso with integral hooks for ease of hanging.  Very decorative!  Scarce in this exuberant design, size and condition - stunning on the wall! Presently for candles but can be wired and PAT tested - please enquire.
