A rare near pair of 1950s Maison Bagues botanical painted & gilt metal 'Fern Basket' chandeliers - naturalistically designed with great style and exuberance, the curling fern fronds full of movement emerging from intricately woven gilt metal baskets suspended by painted metal 'ropes' trimmed at the base with hanging metal tassels, each up lit from within by four hidden bulbs designed to emit an atmospheric light, original ceiling roses present.  In overall good condition commensurate with age, the fern fronds well patinated throughout with some paint losses. Rewired and PAT tested - ready to install. Can be sold individually.
