Item Details

An 18th century lacquered bow front corner cupboard with raised Chinoiserie gilt decoration depicting traditional scenes below the shaped gallery. The inside painted in red with 3 shelves. Retaining its original butterfly hinges and escutcheons.


Condition.


In good country house condition with various chips to the paint work. Lacking the brass catches to the left door to keep it locked. Somebody has added a little metal hook to the bottom of one of the shelves which does the job instead.
