Item Details

A mid 19th century Howard & Sons armchair c1860. The walnut frame retaining its original horse hair filling and cotton lining. Splayed back legs with the original Cope & Collinson casters and the left back leg with the stock number 12061-1077.


Structurally in good solid order and ready for a fresh top cover.


At some point in its life the front legs have been replaced. This is something we can change for period correct Howard reproduction legs and 19th century Copes casters.


Not one for the purists perhaps but its still a good model by one of the top makers.


As with all our upholstered seating we do offer upholstery should you wish.
