Item Details

A beautiful antique carved walnut bench sofa. The item is 18th Century and displays an intricately carved biblical scene in the centre of the walnut wood. There are also carved scrolls and faces on each of the top part of the arms, the arms stretch down into further carved scrolls. The sofa bench is on turned supports united by an x frame stretcher. The item is probably Italian in origin. There are some slight chips and scratches to the wooden frame, commensurate with age and use. The seat measures 57cm (h).
