This charming antique limestone putto holding a garland of fruit stands on a roughly square base, leaning on a half pillar or tree trunk. The figure is almost nude apart from a loincloth draped across it. It is nicely weathered and the stone has lost some of its sharpness, but it is a serene and lovely statue which would enhance any classical garden design.
