Item Details

Grand 19th Century wrought iron entranceway from the estate of Sir Robert McAlpine. Could be used in a manner of ways including conversion into a pair of gates. Large in scale the top arch measures approximately 110cm high x 179.5cm wide (158cm wide without lugs). One main panel measures 239cm high (minus lugs) x 98.5cm wide (minus lugs) each. Metal is in good order structurally, but there is the odd bit of loss to the top arch and some bent sections on the main panels.
