Item Details

A reclaimed, large, ornate, original 19th Century fire insert with foliate detail work. The foliate design runs symmetrically around the fire opening meeting in the centre, creating a lovely focal point. The foliate design continues across the base of the fire grate. The fire surround has been blackened in places and there is some rust, as can be expected with age and use. There is also a small hole and crack on the rear plate.
