Item Details

Impressive French empire fire surround carved from bleu turquin marble which has a richly veined appearance and is mined in Italy.  The entablature has classical scroll and foliate detailing in white which is mirrored with foliate swags on legs.  The opening is 110.3cm wide x 80cm high.  Surround is in good condition for age with a few dings to edges.
