Antique Shirvan rugs are one of the most sought-after pieces from the Caucasus. They are highly decorative rugs with a formality and stylistic complexity that sets them apart from other rugs from the region.

This early Shirvan has a unique simple drawing. The natural dyed colours have natural colour variation (abrash) providing great contrast to the creative formal drawing, framed by five artistic borders. In very good condition, still retaining all its original borers and fringes at both ends.
