Our striking 'Barok' 2-part trapezoid display cabinet/bookcase is handmade to order in Stockholm by Swedish master craftsmen. With its bun feet and vertical reeded doors, the cabinet fuses design elements from both the earlier Baroque period and later 18th century Gustavian period. The open top cabinet with its decorative fluted corners provides removable and height adjustable shelving, perfect for displaying decorative objects, books or crockery in a multitude of height configurations. The bottom cabinet features a series of internal drawers perfect for storing linens or tableware. The cabinet would make a wonderful focal point and statement piece for a kitchen, dining room or study. Please note; the cabinet can be specified in larger custom sizes to suit your project, and the internal drawers in the lower cabinet can be replaced with height adjustale shelving if required.

Our furniture and designs are frequently imitated by manufacturers in the UK and the Far East, but there really is no substitute for the quality, finesse and beauty of authentic Gustavian furniture, handmade to order in Sweden.

Copies of our furniture often cut corners with; inferior construction materials, poor joinery techniques, clumsy & innacurate carving or stuck-on architrave, with cheap household hinges and handles, and inferior paint and patina.

Please Note: We cannot compete on price with these items, without compromising on the quality and finish of our own pieces, which we would never do.
