Our extraordinary bespoke 'Florian' demilune extension table is hand crafted in Stockholm from solid birch and is an exact replica of an important 19th century Swedish antique dining table. It features a deep apron with rounded profile edge, and stands on four elegant square tapered legs with fluted detail, topped by decorative inset hand carved floret motifs. In typical Swedish fashion, this magnificent Gustavian dining table is also extremely practical, and can be quickly extended by 1, 2, 3, or 4 table leaves using the sliding wooden extension mechanism discreetly concealed underneath the table top. As a round table it has a diameter of 135cm, with each table leaf adding an additional 60cm to the total width. Available in a range of nineteen authentic Swedish hand painted antique patinas. Our furniture and designs are frequently imitated by manufacturers in the UK and the Far East, but there really is no substitute for the quality, finesse and beauty of authentic Gustavian furniture, handmade to order in Sweden.

Copies of our furniture often cut corners with; inferior construction materials, poor joinery techniques, clumsy & innacurate carving or stuck-on architrave, with cheap household hinges and handles, and inferior paint and patina.

Please Note: We cannot compete on price with these items, without compromising on the quality and finish of our own pieces, which we would never do.
