Circa 1900. A Qing Dynasty Huanghuali low table. The rectangular table with large panel insert, simple moulded fore edge and shaped frieze beneath. The extended frieze has Chinese motifs on all sides and fine beading on the fore edge which continues down to the hipped square legs finishing on a classic Chinese toe. The underside of the table is braced for stability.
