Circa 1900. A neat sized clean gilded French fauteuil chair. The carved oval and upholstered back with foliate carved top, padded arms, supported on shaped upright with foliate acanthus leaves on the facing and on the arm rest, the large stuffed over seat upholstered in needle point. With a shaped and carved apron all standing on 4 elegant turned, reeded, tapering legs finishing on simple toe. Clean and sturdy.
