Item Details

Circa 1820, Regency inlaid rosewood sofa table. The top in figured Brazilian rosewood with satinwood crossbanding and ebony and boxwood string inlay over a faux-rosewood base. With 2 frieze drawers (1 dummy drawer) on each side with oak linings and flanked by cast brass patera. All standing on a vasiform rectangular support on a raised platform, with cast honeysuckle decorations. The 4 cabriole legs with applied brass patera and brass lions claw castors.
