Item Details

Circa 1820. A good George IV cast iron fire insert. The center section with an oval panel with classical figures and cherubs in a foliate frame. Beneath this is the open section with a serpentine front with beading, flanked by a pair of ribbed uprights with beading and foliate casting. The cast iron insert has been recently polished with traditional grate polish.
