Circa 1890. Late Victorian walnut wellington chest. The solid top with canted corners and a simple fore-edge and deep frieze, the front with a configuration of six graduating drawers, each with elegant brass handles and mahogany liners, with pilaster on both sides, the right hand one is hinged and is lockable (working), beneath the bottom drawer there is a small flat section with a canted corner, resting on an enclosed plinth.
