Item Details

Circa 1990. An oak and mahogany, full-sized oaten-straw back Orkney chair of traditional form. The woven straw back on an oak frame tied down with marram grass over the solid mahogany seat. The David Kirkness style arms with scrolled ends on pine uprights. The square tapering legs, slightly outswept rear legs braced by stretchers. In excellent condition.
