https://www.decorativecollective.com/dealers/georgian-antiquesCirca 1860. A good early mid-Victorian mahogany framed pole screen. The cartouche shaped frame which is glazed with fine needle point on the front and back, is supported on a turned upright surmounted by a fine finial. The screen can rise and fall and is held in place by a brass mechanism, attached to a wonderful turned, ring turning and fluted stem, all resting on three carved cabriole legs finishing on a curled toe with a downward facing finial to the center.
