Circa 1900. An interesting mahogany music cabinet by Whytock and Reid of Edinburgh. The top with mirror matched flame mahogany, rounded corners and curved sides. With two full length doors, inside is fitted with pull out mahogany slides, beneath the doors there is a shaped frieze with a burr elm panel, typical of Sir Robert Lorimer, shape frieze on all sides all resting on 4 stylized Lorimer feet finishing with a simple pad foot.
