Circa 1833, a rare and unusual William IV oak and pollard oak occasional table. The rectangular shaped table has quarter matching burr oak veneers, simple moulded edge and a deep apron with similar veneers and beading. Standing on a ring turned, tapering stem with a carved tulip section in the centre. Beneath this are various mouldings and it finishes on a tapering column with a circular collar and is on a raised, concave shaped platform veneered in burr oak. Standing on squat turned bun feet with the original brass casters beneath.
