Two pairs of antique Victorian black ceramic doorknobs with gilt repousse brass backplates, the knobs with glossy black vitreous enamelled finish (like glass).
English,19th century.
No damage. The knobs turn freely with no looseness or play. So no wear and fit for a further 100 years plus of use.
A very good set of two pairs for double doors (the knobs connect with a standard square steel bar).
