Item Details

An antique wrought iron wine rack with a waved front and original paint. Very well built with ingenious wedged tenon construction (72 wedged tenons) and riveted side bars/ wall brackets.Approx c1900 or earlier.Very sturdy. It has been thoroughly rubbed down and treated with renaissance wax to leave a lovely finish showing the original green paint layers.It has a capacity of 144 bottles.
