Item Details

A large scale and rare 1950s light fitting with plastic shade, steel stem and gallery and spum aluminium ceiling plate.
It is designed to be ceiling mounted but could be converted to a hanging pendant.
In excellent condition with original paint (some fading, no loss) to the fittings. All parts are original with no losses.
The shade is bright white and shiny . It is very robust, strong and flexible with no brittleness, ageing,distortion, discoloration or marks.
It has been rewired with a new ES brass lampholder which is positioned ideally for a large opal lampholder.
Dimensions in inches/cm;
27.5"/70cm max diameter.(minimum diameter of shade at the bottom is 8"/20.5cm).
28.5"/72cm height (this could be changed to a hanging lamp if the height doesn't suit).
