Item Details

We have a small collection of 19th century Swedish salting troughs, these with their original red paint on the outer surface. They are classic Swedish folk art pieces which were originally used to store and prepare food items. Each piece has its own character and surface patina with some marked on the base with the dates and/or initials. Wonderful, collectable pieces for decorative use or for serving bread or fruit.
