Edward Rogers was born in Wisbech in 1911 and educated in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Rogers was largely self taught and he began by painting mainly portraits and landscapes. In the 1950s his work became more surrealist. He then experimented with abstraction and by the 1960s he was painting colourful, geometric pictures in oil. He exhibited with the Belgrade Gallery, Abbot and Holder and the Dorian Gallery in London.
We have three abstract compositions by Rogers available, please email us for more details.
