This is a fantastic desk lamp made by Hala in the Netherlands in the 1950s. 

A lovely staggered solid metal base with the original button on/off switch and domed, polished shade. The Hala stamp can be found on the top. 

We've wired this light for the UK, but we can adapt this for any destination, please get in touch if you have any questions. 

The minimalist lighting company Hala was founded in Zeist sometime in the 1930s, drawing inspiration from the Bauhaus movement. The early history of the company is unclear, however, it still operates today under the official name Hala Nederlandsche Lampen Fabriek BV.
