This grand scale two tier coffee table was made in Spain in the 1970s by the furniture designer Valenti.


The ebonised wood is decorated with brass and the shelves are clear glass. The lower shelf is 24cm high.


Valenti was originally a silversmith business established in Barcelona in 1798 which diversified into a furniture maker. 


The company has won several prestigious design awards and has operated globally for over 50 years. This table is one of their design classics from the midcentury period.
