A beautiful little desk made by Gillows of Lancaster in the 19th century. The drawer is stamped with the maker's name - please take a look at all our pictures for a closer look.
It has lovely honeysuckle detail on the front and elegant tapering legs.


The desk is attractive either open or closed. The lid rests on the drawer and the tooled leather writing surface is nicely worn with age. (Get in touch if you'd like us to replace this with new leather.)


Several little cupboards and cubby holes in the top and the space at the bottom provide good organised storage. A great work station for any member of the family, or a decorative piece for a hall or landing.


This desk was made in Lancashire, in the north of England - excellent quality and craftsmanship which we’ve had carefully restored.
