Item Details
A large antique pendant light.
Stamped Jena.
German, c1910.
Highly unusual and rare lamp, the two base parts of the lamp are pressed glass over the rim rather than using a metal rim which is the normal way of attaching glass.
The only one we have found of a light constructed in this manner.
The rim and gallery are brass. The top glass is opaline, the middle rim is clear and the base is opaline designed with a hole to the base.
Re-wired and PAT tested.
No chain or rose was retained with the lamp.
